The data, obtained by geological exploration of mineral deposits, in scopes of mineral projects, is used as a major factor of the assessment whether a project is feasible or not. Of special importance is that about basic characteristics of a deposit being explored and about quantity and quality (i.e. resources and reserves) of the belonging raw material. In accordance with its significance, the data must have certain levels of accuracy and confidence. Therefore, a special attention should be called to the acts in the exploration phase of an actual mineral project which, if performed properly, could enhance the levels of accuracy and confidence of the data to be obtained. These acts are considered in the paper.
